Larry is a husband, and father with a background in business, public service, and community leadership. As a retired professional, he is able to serve as a full-time, accessible senator for the people of District 5.

Larry Nance is not running to simply support other senators’ bills. He is running to author legislation that directly addresses the real needs of District 5—based on what residents, families, seniors, and small businesses are experiencing every day.
Too often, legislation is written far from the people it affects. Larry believes District 5 deserves a senator who takes responsibility for crafting solutions—not just voting on them.

Larry believes good legislation starts with listening. As a candidate, he is committed to meeting directly with residents across District 5 to understand their concerns, priorities, and ideas.
While this campaign is being run by a small, focused team, Larry is making accessibility a priority by speaking directly with constituents and staying engaged in the community. Once elected, he plans to host quarterly community meetings and formalize structured ways for ongoing community input so legislation continues to reflect real-world needs.
